Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting good oral health practices. Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patient oral health.
Document patient medical histories and maintain accurate records using Eaglesoft or similar systems.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Administer local anesthesia and take vital signs as necessary during procedures.
Assist in the development of treatment plans in collaboration with the dentist.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during all procedures.
Conduct documentation reviews to ensure all patient information is up-to-date and accurate.
Provide support in dental assisting tasks when needed, including preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments.

Qualifications

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Proficiency in medical coding is preferred but not required.
Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dental health and hygiene practices.
Familiarity with infection control standards and aseptic techniques is essential.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Previous experience in a dental office setting is desirable but not mandatory.
