General Dentist - Bright Canyon Smiles - Susanville, CA

Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our team for 2 days/week.As a Dentist, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients, diagnose and treat dental conditions, and educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental procedures and possess excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:- Perform routine dental examinations, including oral cancer screenings and x-rays- Diagnose and treat dental conditions such as cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay- Administer anesthetics to patients to minimize pain during procedures- Create treatment plans for patients based on their oral health needs- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care techniques- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns- Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure efficient patient care- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Experience:- Proven experience as a Dentist- In-depth knowledge of dental procedures.- Familiarity with dental practice management software- Proficient in dental office systems and medical terminology- Ability to take vital signs and follow aseptic technique protocols
