Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and scaling and root planing for patients.
Assess and document patient oral health status using appropriate dental terminology.
Provide patient education on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Ensure infection control protocols are followed to maintain a safe environment.
Collaborate with dentists and other team members to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Utilize a dental software system (Eagelsoft) for scheduling and record management.
Requirements
Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations.
At least 2 years of dental hygiene experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and medical terminology.
Familiarity with infection control practices and protocols.
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
Proficiency in using dental software systems, particularly Eagelsoft, is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Pay: $48.00 - $53.00 per hour
