OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental practice. Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of periodontal disease and other dental conditions.
Perform vital signs assessments as part of patient evaluations.
Maintain aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment.
Document patient care accurately in the dental office management system, including medical coding as necessary.
Collaborate with dentists in developing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Provide support in pediatric dentistry, ensuring a comfortable experience for younger patients.
Assist with various dental procedures as needed, demonstrating proficiency in dental assisting tasks.

Qualifications

Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
Experience in dental assisting is preferred but not required.
Strong knowledge of general dentistry practices, including pediatric dentistry.
Familiarity with aseptic techniques and ability to perform vital signs assessments.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and interact with patients.
Proficient in medical coding and documentation within a dental office setting is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while providing exceptional patient care.
