Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
Assist in the diagnosis and treatment planning alongside the dentist.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Review medical histories and update patient records as necessary.
Utilize knowledge of anatomy to identify potential dental issues.
Provide care for pediatric patients with attention to their unique needs.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and high standards of care.

Qualifications

Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations.
Strong knowledge of general dentistry practices and procedures.
Familiarity with medical terminology and coding related to dental care.
Experience in documentation review and maintaining medical records.
Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach.
Ability to work effectively within a team environment while assisting others as needed.
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry is a plus but not required.
