We are a thriving privately-owned dental office specializing in pediatric dentistry, dedicated to providing exceptional care for our patients ranging from infants to special needs adults. As we expand, we are excited to invite a compassionate and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team on a part-time basis.
Responsibilities:
As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in our practice by performing thorough cleanings, conducting oral health assessments, and providing tailored patient education. You will ensure that each patient feels at ease during their visit and understands the importance of maintaining excellent oral hygiene.
- Conduct patient assessments and review medical history- Perform preventive dental cleanings and treatments, including child prophylaxis (40 minutes) and comprehensive evaluations for new patients (1 hour)- Educate patients and their families about oral hygiene practices and the importance of maintaining a healthy smile- Document patient interactions and treatment plans in Eaglesoft software- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth and effective patient experience
Qualifications:
We are seeking a candidate with at least one year of experience in dental hygiene, specifically in a pediatric or private practice setting. A valid hygiene license is required. Familiarity with scheduling procedures and the use of Eaglesoft is preferred.
This position will primarily be available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
