OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care to our patients, ensuring their oral health and comfort. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent patient assessment skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments and examinations to diagnose dental conditions.
Perform a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records using Epic software and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, oral hygiene, and preventive care.
Stay updated on dental terminology and advancements in the field to provide the best care possible.
Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure a smooth workflow in the clinic.
Requirements
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license and ability to pass any required background checks.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, infection control practices, and medical terminology.
Experience or training in endodontics and pediatrics is preferred but not mandatory.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks.
