Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional preventive care, including cleanings, scaling, and root planing
Take and review dental radiographs
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and home care recommendations
Prepare and maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
Assist the dentist in patient assessments and treatment planning
Ensure infection control and OSHA compliance standards are met
Build rapport with patients to ensure a comfortable and positive experience
Maintain a clean and organized operatory and sterilization area
Participate in team meetings and contribute to the positive office culture

Qualifications:

Current Illinois Dental Hygiene License (required)
Current CPR/BLS Certification
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred (new grads welcome to apply)
Strong communication and patient education skills
Knowledge of Open Dental software is a plus
Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills
Team player with a positive, professional, and friendly attitude

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $42.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
