Position Overview: As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for providing direct oral hygiene and preventive services to our patients within a community health care environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the oral health management of patients.
Educate and counsel dental patients on oral health practices.
Deliver clinical oral hygiene services, including dental cleanings, scaling, sealant and fluoride applications, in line with professional standards and state regulations.
Perform independent procedures as directed by a dentist, adhering to state laws and organizational protocols.

Qualifications:

Licenses: Unrestricted Dental Hygiene license in the State of Maine.
Certifications: Current CPR (BLS) certification.
Education: Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program.
Experience: Dental Hygiene experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Skills: Awareness of public health, social, and economic factors affecting patient health, with the ability to creatively address challenges through individual or programmatic solutions.
