Lakemoor Dental is looking for a skilled & friendly Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team & treat our patients like family.
Our Arlington Heights & Elk Grove VIllage, Illinois locations are looking for Full Time or Part Time Hygienists to join. Our offices have been open for many years, with a reliable and great patient base & Team.

Qualifications:

-At least one (1) year Dental Hygienist experience preferred, but not necessary. New graduates are welcome to apply!
Graduated from accredited AAS or BS Dental Hygiene Degree Program
Proof of certification and credentials required upon hiring
Anesthetic certification preferred, but not required
Experience with Digital X-Rays
Ability to navigate and work on computers efficiently
Quick learner
Enthusiastic
Positive attitude
Team Player
Reliable
Self-directed; ability to direct and manage tasks to see patients independently
Knowledge of Dentrix Ascend, Eaglesoft or Dentrix is a plus, but not required

Dental Hygienist Responsibilities:

Prepare room and set up trays to receive the patients
Obtain diagnostic digital dental x-rays
Record findings, periodontal charting and diagnose periodontal disease
Appropriately administer dental anesthetic when needed
Apply preventive materials to the teeth (e.g., sealants and fluoride)
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
Proactively work towards achieving high patient satisfaction and retention
Clean and sterilize all dental instruments following proper procedures
Assist with other duties as needed
