Dental Hygienist (Part-time) - Troy Family Dentistry - Troy, MI

Troy Family Dentistry is a privately owned, General Dental office seeking a hardworking and reliable part-time Dental Hygienist in Troy, Michigan. Currently the position is every other Saturday 8-1 (only 1 Saturday a month during summer months). Possibility of increased day availability in future if interested.
We are looking for candidates with a warm and energetic disposition, eye for detail, and a desire to put the patient before themselves.
The ideal candidate will be dependable, personable, and able to work quickly and efficiently without constant supervision.
Friendly attitude and willingness to be helpful is a must!
Responsibilities

Welcome patients in the dental office
Ability to adapt with a fast-paced work environment
Communicate effectively with team members and patients
Local Anesthesia and Nitrous certification preferred
Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
Provide oral hygiene care instructions
Performing regular prophy cleaning, periodontal maintenance and SRP
Ability to take digital X-rays and dental impressions
Maintain accurate and detailed digital patient records
Comfortable working in a sterile environment and maintaining a high standard of sanitization
Ability to learn Dental Software or have previous knowledge - we use Eaglesoft
