OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient operation within the office while providing exceptional care to our patients. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with the dental team to support various procedures, maintain patient comfort, and uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, employing four-handed dentistry techniques for efficiency.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Take medical imaging and assist with the use of 3D scanners.
Maintain accurate medical documentation using Open Dental software.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Maintain a clean environment.

Experience

Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, with a solid understanding of dental procedures and terminology.
Familiarity with 3D scanning technology is a plus.
Previous experience taking X-rays. (Pano, Bite wings, Periapical...)
Proficiency in using Open Dental software system is desirable.
Knowledge of medical documentation practices to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
