Duties:
-Expanded Function (Required)
-Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations- Take and develop dental x-rays- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Perform patient assessments and record medical history- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records- Assist with dental lab tasks as needed- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient flow
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills- Proficient in using dental software systems (CAD, Epic)- Knowledge of medical coding and insurance billing processes- Ability to work well in a team environment- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus
This position requires a Dental Assistant certification or relevant experience. The successful candidate must have a thorough understanding of dental procedures, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
