Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated team member to join our face paced dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. This position requires a strong understanding of pediatric dentistry practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Duties
Successfully remove plaque and food debris supragingivally by polishing teeth
Place adequate dental sealants
Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and treatments.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
Take X-rays as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems such as Dentrix Ascend.
Provide patients with information regarding their treatment plans and post-operative care.
Ensure the dental office is well-organized and that all supplies are stocked.
Requirements
Coronal polishing certification
Radiology certification
Proven or in a similar role within a dental practice.
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry procedures and anatomy is essential.
Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix is preferred.
Ability to perform X-ray imaging and maintain infection control standards.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
Certification in dental assisting

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
