Dental Assistant - Pearl Dental Care - Florence, KY

Outstanding dental assistant wanted for a position in a positive, enjoyable atmosphere!
We have a beautiful modern office, a wonderful patient population, an enthusiastic team, and a sincere dentist dedicated to quality care. We’d love to have you join us as a full time dental assistant, working only 4 days each week. Previous dental experience would be helpful, but personality, a great attitude, and a strong work ethic are our first priorities. We look forward to meeting you!
Responsibilities

Welcome patients to the dental office
Prepare patients for treatment
Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Undertake lab tasks as instructed
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
Keep dental operatories sterilized and well-stocked
Order supplies
Provide equipment maintenance
Schedule appointments
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures
Assist doctor utilizing four handed dentistry

Skills

Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Good computer skills
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred
Open Dental and Cerec knowledge a plus
