Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. We are modern, high tech, use digital scanners and all aspects of digital dentistry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Pay based on skills with room to grow. Open Mon-Thurs and a few fridays a month.
Duties
Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and maintain the treatment area, including sterilization of instruments and adherence to infection control protocols.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Utilize 3D scanners and medical imaging technology to assist in patient diagnostics.
Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft software, documenting treatments and patient interactions.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage inventory of dental supplies and ensure that all materials are stocked and readily available.
Uphold aseptic techniques and demonstrate knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and four-handed dentistry.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Proficiency in aseptic technique, infection control practices, and familiarity with medical imaging equipment.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and dental procedures.
Experience with Eaglesoft software is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely and effectively.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly with patients and team members.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Pay: $15.00 - $28.00 per hour
