Responsibilities: -Bilingual Pediatric Dental Assistant (English and Spanish is REQUIRED).- Must be a team player who is able to control the back office flow (direct doctor to the next patient) -Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments- Take dental x-rays with digital sensor- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Be familiar with charting in OPEN DENTAL or must be a fast learner.- Work- Enter progress notes that are dictated chairside
Qualifications:- High school diploma- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program- X-ray certification- Proficiency in dental documentation and coding dental procedures when charting- Familiarity with OPEN DENTAL SOFTWARE- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Note: Experience in pediatric dentistry is REQUIRED.
