Evolve Dental Care is looking for an DENTAL ASSISTANT/TEAM PLAYER !!
This individual has the opportunity to become part of a great team that is quickly growing with future possibilities. We are looking to add a 2nd assistant as our current assistant is applying for Dental School and we are steadily growing.
We are looking for a personable, competent dental assistant who will make the dentist’s office more efficient and pleasant for everyone!! We have a fun team atmosphere and strive to provide the highest quality service while maintaining a relaxing environment. We are a patient focused practice and utilize a Therapy Dog among other techniques to ensure we promote positive work and dental care experience.
As an Evolve Dental Assistant you will be responsible for contributing to the team and success of Evolve Dental Care through your positive attitude, motivation and organization, attention to detail, while maintaining an energetic, drama free and safe work space.
Skills

X-Ray certification Required
Basic Life Support Required
Proven experience as dental assistant encouraged
Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing is a plus
Good computer skills
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred
Knowledge of OSHA / HIPPA, performing lab work, making temporary crowns, packing cord, etc skills of certified dental assistants a huge Plus!!
And other duties as assigned. We are a team here, and everyone is expected to contribute to ensure a smooth day for all!

Current Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:30 - 5:00
