Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pre-Dental student to join our dynamic dental practice. No experience is needed, we will train on the job.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the office while providing exceptional care to our patients. As a Dental Assistant, you will support the dentist during procedures, manage patient records, and contribute to a welcoming environment for patients of all ages.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques for optimal efficiency.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are available.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records using Eaglesoft or similar systems.
Monitor vital signs and ensure patient comfort throughout their visit.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Collaborate with team members to provide high-quality care in a pediatric setting when necessary.
Assist with prosthodontics procedures as needed, ensuring all equipment is prepared and functioning properly.
