Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a blend of technical skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate approach towards patient interactions.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance.
Take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Record and update patient medical histories and vital signs accurately.
Maintain an organized and sterile environment in the treatment area, adhering to infection control protocols.
Provide support in various dental specialties including Endodontics, Prosthodontics, and Pediatric dentistry.
Utilize 3D scanners for imaging and assist with treatment planning as needed.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
Manage medical documentation efficiently to ensure accurate record-keeping.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and procedures is essential.
Familiarity with X-Ray technology and safety standards is required.
Experience with vital signs monitoring is advantageous.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining records and documentation.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
