Dental Assistant - Today's Dental of Boxborough - Salem, MA

Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic small dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
We work Monday through Thursday and every other Friday
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, adhering to aseptic techniques.
Take and develop X-rays as needed, ensuring proper medical imaging protocols are followed.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records using software such as Open dental & Dexis
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care to promote overall dental health.
Manage inventory of dental supplies, ensuring all materials are stocked and organized.
Intra Oral Scanning through Trios

Experience

Previous experience in a dental clinic or as a dental assistant is preferred.
Proficiency in dental assisting techniques, including endodontics and general dentistry practices.
Knowledge of aseptic techniques and safety protocols in a clinical setting.
Certification in radiography is mandatory
Portuguese speaker is a plus
