Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following infection control protocols.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Utilize dental software systems such as Eaglesoft for scheduling appointments and managing patient information.
Operate 3D scanners for imaging and assist in creating dental models.
Implement aseptic techniques to prevent contamination during procedures.
Provide education to patients regarding oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality care.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not required. Dental assistant trainees start at $16/hour, but will get a raise as soon as the license/registration process is complete.
