Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Texarkana, TX
We are adding another person to our outstanding team. We are looking for an energetic, self-directed individual with chair side skills and great customer service skills. One (1) years dental office experience preferred. New dental assistant graduates will be considered but experience is a plus. You must have valid Texas Registered Dental Assistant license.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide outstanding customer service for the patient; excellent chair side manner.
Assist the doctor with all dental procedures; including coronal polishing, sealants, radiographs, restorative treatment, impressions and sedations.
Take and mount accurate and high quality digital radiographs and intra-oral photos
Perform efficient and accurate procedures to help maintain doctors' schedule and patient flow; create no patient wait time; be present, engaged, ready to work at all assigned shift times.
Help clean the office and treatment rooms
Instrument sterilization and set-up.
Verify patient health history (basic health review, medications) and document appropriately in patients chart.
Assist with other office duties as requested or needed
Minimum Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Dental Assistant license as required by state
Outstanding positive attitude and demeanor
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of all company policies and rules, ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
A background check will be conducted. CPR certification required. Nitrous monitoring a plus
