The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients and play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the dental office. Responsibilities include greeting patients, managing appointments, handling billing and insurance, and maintaining patient records.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet patients warmly and check them in for appointments
• Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments
• Manage patient records and update personal and insurance information
• Process insurance claims and verify patient coverage
• Collect and process payments, co-pays, and billing statements
• Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area
• Coordinate with dental staff to ensure patient flow
• Handle administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry
• Adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality regulations
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Prior experience in a dental or medical office preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of dental terminology and insurance procedures is a plus
