Responsibilities:
Provide efficient and effective chairside assistance to the dentist during a variety of dental procedures.
Prepare treatment rooms, ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are readily available and sterilized according to OSHA and practice standards.
Take accurate and high-quality digital radiographs.
Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment accurately in our electronic dental record system.
Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
Assist with lab procedures as needed.
Provide excellent patient care and communication, ensuring patient comfort and understanding throughout their visit.
Manage infection control protocols diligently.
Assist with front office duties as needed (e.g., answering phones, scheduling appointments, processing payments).
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Stay up-to-date on the latest dental assisting techniques and technologies through continuing education.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant.
Current Ohio Dental Assistant Radiographer license.
Proficiency in taking digital radiographs.
Experience with Dentrix Ascend is a plus.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
