Registered Dental Hygienist - T. Keaton Mash, DMD, PLLC - North Wilkesboro, NC

Overview:We are a longstanding, doctor owned and operated dental practice in North Wilkesboro seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team. Our 5 op practice is looking for a motivated individual to help provide efficient, general dental care to a vibrant patient base. A team-based approach to managing patient care is adopted and as a Dental Hygienist you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your expertise and care will contribute to creating a positive and comfortable experience for our patients during their dental visit.
Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive patient care by performing dental cleanings and assessments. Help lead the office hygiene program by evaluating, monitoring, and treating patient periodontal status.
Utilize dental terminology and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth and efficient office experience.
Utilize Dentrix software for documentation and patient management.
Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride
Educate patients on oral hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention

Qualifications

Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license in North Carolina
Proficient in dental terminology and patient care
Experience with Dentrix software
Strong knowledge of anatomy and aseptic techniques
Ability to perform patient assessments and vital sign checks
Excellent communication skills and teamwork in a dental office setting
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical records management
