Job Overview:We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, and help ensure excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:- Prepare patients for dental work- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment- Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies- Maintain accurate patient records- Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment- Perform lab tasks as needed
Qualifications:- Completion of a dental assistant program or relevant certification- X-ray certification preferred- Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols- Familiarity with medical coding, HIPAA regulations, and medical records management- Proficiency in Dentrix or Eaglesoft software is a plus- Experience in pediatric dentistry is advantageous
