We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team in Baltimore. In this role, you will provide high-quality preventive dental care, conduct thorough dental hygiene assessments, and educate patients on optimal oral health practices. Schedule:
Monday to Thursday: 8 AM â 4 PM
Friday: 8 AM â 1 PM
We are looking for someone to work 2-3 days a week.
Qualifications:
Education: Completion of an accredited dental hygiene program (Associateâs or Bachelorâs degree in Dental Hygiene).
Licensure: Current, valid Maryland dental hygiene license is required.
Experience: Prior clinical experience is preferred; however, recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality patient care.
Professionalism: A dedicated team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to continuous professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care: Perform dental hygiene procedures including prophylaxis, scaling, polishing, and the application of preventive treatments.
Patient Education: Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide advice on maintaining optimal dental health.
Collaboration: Work closely with dentists, dental assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless and effective patient care.
Clinical Excellence: Maintain accurate patient records, assist in treatment planning, and ensure strict adherence to safety and infection control protocols.
Professional Growth: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest dental hygiene practices and advancements.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
