We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Dental Assistant who shares this passion.
Work Schedule
This is a part-time position with hours on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:40 am to 5:20 pm, with a lunch break from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, totaling about 27 hours per week.
Job Responsibilities
As a Pediatric Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our practice runs smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting the Dentist: Prepare examination areas, sterilize instruments, and assist the dentist during procedures to ensure efficient workflow.
Patient Care: Greet patients warmly, prepare them for treatments, and ensure their comfort during dental visits.
Education and Communication: Educate children and their parents about proper oral hygiene practices, answer questions, and provide post-treatment care instructions.
Infection Control: Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
Experience: At least one year previous dental assisting experience required, previous experience in a pediatric dental setting is a plus.
Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and empathetic demeanor.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
