Dental Assistant - South Pointe Dental - Draper, UT

Job Overview:Looking for an experienced, motivated and friendly dental assistant to join our team! At least 2 years dental assisting experience is preferred. Eaglesoft experience is also preferred.

Responsibilities:- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures by sterilizing instruments and setting up equipment- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and materials- Take dental x-rays as directed by the dentist- Perform basic dental procedures such as taking impressions and applying sealants- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care- Maintain accurate patient records- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile environment- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient flow in the office- Perform other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a dental assistant program preferred- X-ray certification required; CPR certification preferred- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and equipment- Proficiency in medical documentation and record keeping- Familiarity with Eaglesoft- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient privacy- Ability to take accurate vital signs and perform basic patient assessments

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
