Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a supportive and friendly environment. This role involves working closely with patients to educate them on oral hygiene practices, performing dental cleanings, and assisting the dentist in various procedures. A strong understanding of infection control protocols and adherence to HIPAA regulations is essential.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans, utilizing Eaglesoft software.
Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care and improve overall clinic efficiency.
Stay updated on current best practices in general dentistry and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control standards.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and care.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced dental clinic environment.
Previous experience in general dentistry or pediatric dentistry is advantageous but not required.
