Clinical Dental Hygienist - Stencil Dental - Swansea, MA

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Take and record vital signs as part of the patient assessment process.
Utilize Dentrix software for patient documentation and management.
Review medical history and document any relevant changes or concerns.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options.
Assist in infection control procedures to maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Support the dentist during procedures through four-handed dentistry techniques.
Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress in accordance with clinic protocols.
Stay updated on current dental practices, medical terminology, and anatomy knowledge relevant to dental hygiene.

Requirements

Valid Dental Hygienist MA license.
Experience working in a dental clinic setting is preferred.
Proficient knowledge of vital signs, medical terminology, and anatomy related to dental health.
Strong understanding of infection control standards and practices in a clinical environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Ability to perform documentation review accurately and efficiently.
