OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care and ensuring patient comfort. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. The Dental Hygienist will be responsible for performing preventive dental care and educating patients on oral hygiene.
Duties
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
Review patient documentation and medical history to ensure comprehensive care.
Utilize Eaglesoft and other dental office systems for patient management and record-keeping.
Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the administration of local anesthesia as needed during procedures.
Perform four-handed dentistry by assisting the dentist during various procedures.
Take and document vital signs as part of patient assessments.
Provide care for pediatric patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout treatments.
Requirements
Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations.
Proficiency in Eaglesoft or similar dental office management systems is preferred.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical coding, and infection control practices.
Experience with documentation review to ensure accuracy in patient records.
Ability to perform four-handed dentistry effectively in collaboration with the dentist.
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.

Pay: $43.50 - $45.20 per hour
