Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with the dentist and other staff to deliver exceptional patient care in a friendly and professional environment.
Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth to maintain optimal oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care practices.
Apply sealants and fluoride treatments as needed to protect teeth from decay.
Maintain strict infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Assist in pediatric dentistry procedures, providing compassionate care to young patients.
Utilize dental terminology effectively when communicating with patients and team members.
Document patient care accurately in the dental office systems, ensuring all records are up-to-date.
Collaborate with the dentist on treatment plans and patient follow-ups.

Qualifications

Valid state license as a Dental Hygienist.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and dental hygiene practices.
Experience in patient assessment and providing quality patient care.
Familiarity with infection control procedures and aseptic techniques in a dental setting.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
