Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during visits. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Dental Hygienist will collaborate with dentist and other staff to deliver comprehensive oral health services.
Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental care.
Review patient documentation and medical histories to ensure accurate treatment planning.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosing dental conditions
Maintain aseptic techniques during procedures to ensure patient safety.
Document patient treatments and progress accurately in the electronic health record system, including Eaglesoft.
Support the dental team with four-handed dentistry techniques during procedures.

Experience

Previous experience in a dental practice setting is preferred.
Familiarity with dental terminology and documentation review is essential.
Experience with medical imaging and dental assisting is a plus.
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is beneficial but not mandatory.
Proficiency in using Dentrix Ascend or similar dental software is advantageous.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
