Dental Hygienist - Puntillo & Crane Orthodontics - Baltimore, MD

Looking for a Part-time Dental Hygienist (2 days a week) who is able to work in a fast-paced environment. NOTE that this is not your typical dental hygienist position. This will be primarily assisting with orthodontic deband procedures and removing adhesive. The position may also includes assisting with certain orthodontic procedures. Training will be provided to the candidate. Must also be compassionate, a team player, and have a strong work ethic. Excellent hand and computer skills are required.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Greeting and seating patients
Removing adhesive and polishing the teeth
Bonding lingual retainers
Providing oral hygiene instructions
Accurate computer charting
General orthodontic appointments

Job requirements

Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program
Indiana Dental Hygiene License
Excellent communication skills
Ability to build good rapport with patients and staff

Usual work week is 2 days a week (typically Tuesdays & Wednesdays). Shift rotations may include rotating to any of our four locations (Crown Point, Schererville, Merrillville, and Valparaiso) and may include day shifts (until 5pm) or evening shifts (until 7pm).
