OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while ensuring compliance with all health regulations and standards.
Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth to maintain optimal oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Review documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Utilize dental software such as Dentrix for patient records management and scheduling.
Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe clinical environment.
Assist in pediatric dentistry procedures as needed, ensuring a comfortable experience for young patients.
Stay updated on dental terminology and advancements in dental care practices.
Collaborate with dentists and other staff members to provide comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Strong knowledge of infection control procedures and dental clinic operations.
Experience with medical imaging techniques is preferred.
Familiarity with Dentrix software is an advantage.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to perform detailed documentation reviews while adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
Compassionate approach towards patient care, particularly in pediatric dentistry settings.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
