Responsibilities:- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing- Take and develop dental x-rays- Conduct oral cancer screenings- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral health care recommendations- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix, Epic, Eaglesoft, or similar systems- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
Experience:- Proficiency in using Dentrix for patient record management and scheduling (will train if necessary)- Strong communication skills to effectively educate and communicate with patients- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
