Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, performing dental cleanings, and assisting in the overall dental health of our patients. You will play a crucial role in educating patients about oral hygiene and ensuring their comfort during treatments.
Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
Document patient histories, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately in Dentrix software.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Provide care for patients, ensuring a comfortable and friendly atmosphere.
Review documentation to ensure compliance with medical terminology and office protocols.
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the dental office to promote a welcoming atmosphere
Strong understanding of aseptic technique and infection control protocols.
Knowledge of general dentistry principles as well as pediatric dentistry practices.
Ability to effectively communicate dental terminology to patients and staff.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review.
Capability to work collaboratively within a dental team while providing compassionate patient care.
