Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow in the clinic.
Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices to provide the best care possible.
Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experience and satisfaction.

Skills

Proficient in using Dentrix or similar dental management software.
Strong knowledge of general dentistry principles, anatomy, and pediatric dentistry practices.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and work collaboratively with the dental team.
Ability to manage medical records accurately while adhering to HIPAA standards.
Familiarity with infection control procedures to maintain a sterile environment in the clinic.
Experience assisting in various dental procedures is a plus.
