Job Overview
This position is available immediately, following an interview. The candidate will start as part time and transition to full time in November, 2025. The part-time schedule will be Monday/Wednesday, the full-time schedule will be Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday. The office is closed Friday/Saturday/Sunday every week. Benefits will be available once the candidate is full-time.
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our experienced dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting good oral health practices. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a passion for patient care.
Duties

Perform thorough dental prophylaxis and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth, as well as periodontal scaling and root planing.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Review and maintain accurate patient documentation in compliance with office protocols and regulations.
Utilize Eaglesoft for scheduling and patient records.
Assist in the implementation of infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and team members.
Conduct assessments of vital signs as needed prior to procedures.
Provide care tailored to each individual patient, ensuring their comfort and understanding of dental practices.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in ongoing education.

Requirements

Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Pennsylvania.
Valid x-ray certification
Valid Basic Life Support certification (CPR)
Proficiency in using Eaglesoft or similar dental office management systems. (Eaglesoft can be taught)
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Previous experience in a dental office.
Local anesthesia permit is a plus!
