Dental Assistant - Open and Affordable Dental Denver East - Colorado Springs, CO

Our office is growing! We are looking for a rockstar Dental Assistant to join our busy practice. We have a unique 3-day work week (12 hour shifts) with alternating Saturdays/Wednesdays. Must be willing to work at least 2 Saturdays a month.
We truly value our office energy and will take our time to train the right candidate to join our team.
Open and Affordable Dental is looking for a dental assistant for immediate hire. The position is 36 hours per week.
The candidate will possess the following:
Friendly.
Capable of multitasking.
Team player.
Punctual and reliable.
Dental assisting experience a plus, but not mandatory; we are willing to train the right person.
Bilingual a plus.
Will work 3 12-hour shifts per week including some Saturdays.
4 day weekends every week.
Paid time off after 1 year of employment.
Review for raises after 3 months.
We will provide you with all certifications and training that is necessary to be a dental assistant in the state of Colorado.

The dental assistant greets patients, assesses dental issues, communicates to the doctor the patient’s concerns, sets up the operatory for the specific procedure, assists the doctor during procedures, schedules the patient for follow up care, sterilizes the instruments, and cleans the operatory maintaining standard infection control protocols. The dental assistant also takes alginate and PVS impressions, pours up dental models, and adjusts removable prosthodontics. It is imperative the dental assistant maintain a positive attitude during all patient and staff interaction. Additional duties may include helping the hygienist and doctor chart, helping the front office take inbound phone calls, and making outbound phone calls to patients and the laboratory. Must be a team player and willing to step up during business needs.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
