OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and adaptable Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our dynamic dental team. This hybrid role combines clinical patient care responsibilities with front office administrative duties, making it an excellent opportunity for a well-rounded professional who enjoys both hands-on patient interaction and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities

Aid in operatory turnover between patients, ensuring a clean and sterile environment.
Perform instrument sterilization following infection control protocols.
Organize and maintain inventory supplies in the treatment area.
Handle office laundry (lab coats, scrubs, and other necessary linens).
Conduct routine maintenance on dental equipment to ensure proper functionality.
Provide prophylaxis treatment for children under 18, as needed.
Assist the dentist chairside with four-handed dentistry techniques as needed.
Manage inventory ordering and tracking to ensure all necessary supplies are available.
Screen patient calls and schedule appointments efficiently.
Triage emergency patient calls, gathering necessary information and directing cases appropriately.
Assist with patient check-in/check-out processes, ensuring a smooth patient experience.
Process payments and handle financial transactions.
Coordinate communication between the front desk and clinical team to maintain office efficiency.

Skills

Proficient in dental assisting techniques and procedures, with experience in a dental clinic setting.
Familiarity with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft is highly desirable.
Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices related to dentistry.
Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus, demonstrating an ability to engage effectively with children.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact positively with patients and staff.
