This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and the ability to assist in various dental procedures, including prosthodontics and pediatric dentistry.
Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are ready for procedures.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and manage patient medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
Manage appointment scheduling, patient follow-ups, and maintain an organized front desk area.
Ensure infection control standards are met throughout the clinic to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experience and streamline clinic operations.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a dental clinic is preferred.
Familiarity with prosthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and dental terminology is advantageous.
Knowledge of medical documentation practices and HIPAA compliance is essential.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment are required.
