Job Title: Dentist – Correctional Facility (California License Required)
Location: Susanville, California
Shift: 6:30 AM - 14:30 PM
About the Role:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dentist to provide essential dental care within a correctional facility setting. This is a meaningful opportunity to serve a unique patient population, focusing on delivering medically necessary, effective, and compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine and emergency dental procedures based on clinical necessity.
Lead and supervise Dental Assistants as the clinical leader on-site.
Deliver patient-centered care to alleviate pain, prevent illness, and support rehabilitation.
Ensure dental services and surgical procedures are scheduled and delivered in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with healthcare staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum 24 continuous months of relevant experience in a public or private healthcare setting (within the last 30 months; employment gaps should not exceed 4 weeks).
Must hold a current, valid dental license in the State of California.
Strong proficiency in English—spoken, written, and oral communication skills are essential.
Ability to work effectively in a structured, team-based environment.
