Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment for use.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Manage medical documentation and maintain accurate medical records for patients.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
Monitor and record vital signs when necessary, ensuring patient safety.

Skills

Proficiency in medical imaging techniques and familiarity with dental radiography.
Strong understanding of medical documentation practices and maintenance of medical records.
Experience or knowledge in pediatric dentistry is a plus, particularly in working with children.
Familiarity with endodontics procedures is advantageous.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, providing clear explanations of procedures.
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
Experience as a dental receptionist is beneficial, including appointment scheduling and patient interactions.
Strong assisting skills to support the dentist effectively during treatments.
