Dental Assistant - cosmos dental studio - Elkridge, MD

Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations- Take dental x-rays- must be MD X-ray certified- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment- Prepare materials for impressions and restorations- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records
Experience:
- Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred- Knowledge of patient assessment techniques- Familiarity with pediatric dental procedures- Proficiency in computer applications such as sure smile and Open Dental.- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate medical documentation
