OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and practices, as well as proficiency in using dental software such as Eaglesoft and Epic. A background in pediatrics is a plus, as we cater to patients of all ages.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring it is clean and organized.
Perform medical imaging and take X-rays as required.
Manage medical documentation accurately, including patient records and treatment plans.
Provide support to the dental receptionist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations.
Assist in the management of inventory for dental supplies and equipment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred.
Familiarity with Eaglesoft or similar dental software is highly desirable.
Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and equipment.
Strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures.
Experience with medical documentation practices.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction.
