Associate Dentist
Duties:- Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning- Provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages- Conduct routine dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and cleanings- Administer local anesthesia and monitor patients during procedures- Collaborate with dental hygienists and other staff members to ensure optimal patient care- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical records systems (Epic, Dentrix)- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry through continuing education
Skills:- Proficient in using electronic medical records systems (Epic, Dentrix) for medical documentation and patient assessment- Knowledge of medical coding and billing processes- Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology for restorative dentistry- Experience working with pediatric patients- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dental office environment
