Position Overview:We are actively seeking a skilled and caring Pediatric Dentist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with in-office sedation and a passion for helping young patients feel safe and at ease during their dental visits.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive dental exams, preventive care, and restorative treatments for pediatric patients
Provide in-office sedation (including oral sedation, nitrous oxide, and IV sedation, as applicable)
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
Educate patients and parents on oral health and post-sedation care
Ensure safe sedation practices in compliance with state regulations and ADA guidelines
Work collaboratively with dental assistants and office staff to ensure a smooth patient experience
Requirements:
DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
Completion of a pediatric dentistry residency program
Active Virginia dental license and sedation permit (or eligibility to obtain)
Experience providing in-office sedation (oral, nitrous, IV, or a combination)
Board certified or board eligible in pediatric dentistry
CPR/BLS and PALS certification required
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate chairside manner
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $1,100.00 per day
Expected hours: 24 â 32 per week
